We are always given today..and never promised tomorrow....

We made it another week !!!!!!!!!!!!
Our vet says  Beatrix is a definite fighter :)

So far, Beatrix has lost a total of 5 lbs since arriving 2 weeks ago...but Dr Bob said not to worry just yet .
We then discussed her not wanting to eat...she basically stopped eating when the pain meds stopped 2 days ago
We have put her back on a pain meds to see is that will help her....he also reminded me that she is old and arthritic so this will definitely help keep her comfortable

On another note, he skin is looking MUCH better..she is even starting to grow fur where the big sores have healed up..The smell is almost gone, and her coat is feeling much better, not as dry or brittle or greasy

Infectious pneumonia can take 4-6 weeks to recover from this..he's happy the discharge seems better (even though she is still producing it)

I will continue the coupage(thumping of her sides) it's definitely helping as she is coughing and hacking stuff up....

Beatrix slept under the tree most of the afternoon..it was since and warm with a slight breeze..not too hot .

Tonight I'll try and get her to eat..if not we'll syringe feed her some puree, and get her antibiotics .
